QUOTE (spyonu2007 @ Dec 26 2003, 10:58 AM) Hard enough to challenge the mighty GS-T from a roll It already beat the GST from a roll through a couple of gears... Good kill story! |

No. I'm talking about the GSX taking YOUR GST from a roll. You always seem to conveniently forget about that little skirmish or you have some lame excuses.

As someone with nothing to gain either way, I never believed that the POS GSX would take the GST from a roll when it's turbo wasn't chewed up as in their last race. At Cordova the GSX barely beat the GST with a 14.6 in the mid 90's to the GST's 14.0 at 105MPH. Whithout the launch there could not have been a chance.
On the other hand, the GSX now feels like the GS-T on the highway now that it is getting fuel. Congrat's Spy...she's a runner! -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

To be honest I thought the GSX felt just as fast as the GST on the roll before the turbo was chewed. Remember at Cordova the GSX was running on some messed up MAF readings due to a faulty MAF. I think the drama of spinning tires can lead one to think a car is faster than it is. Thats been my experience with my FWD anyway.

Thats been my experience with my FWD anyway. Considering that I'm not the FWD DSM's biggest fan and I'm the one always saying spinning tires fake people into thinking the car is faster than it truely is, I don't think those things come into play on my opinion of these two cars comparison. Plus on the road the FWD really disn't lay down any considerable rubber. I've never seen you backdown from the slightest disagreement Natedogg and I don't ever expect you to. This is just my opinion and my butt-o-meter has usually proven to be pretty accurate when a car is running well and when it's running REALLY well. You know what I mean. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo

That's cool. I'll agree to disagree. But I think its pretty safe to say I've probably ridden in and logged more DSM's than most if not all the people on this board. That's gotta count for something.
But if you think your butt-o-meter is more accurate than mine then maybe we should go race some portajohn's. |

I appreciate your humor with the porto-John's and I think you could probably win that one. I also appreciate all the times that you have ridden shotgun with me and read off the loggers findings. However without trying to sound pompus there is very little that I have as much confidence in than my 18 or so years of engine tuning experience.

This man takes his ass seriously.
Lighten up, dude. I just have a different opinion than you. Hasn't been the first time, I'm sure it won't be the last. I respect your opinion and the extensive experience that you've had with these cars and others. You've helped me out plenty of times, as I have for you. Did you guys run into anything interesting last night? I would have liked to come out but the movie didn't get over til around 12:30 and I figured it was too late by then. |

Sadly I do...
As far as last night....Dang there were SO many 'coulda woulda's' Crappy light changes, and wimpy drivers left but a few silly 3G owners to be played with and slaughtered. -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo
