OK. Heres the deal. When I had my tranny out to do the clutch there was one time putting it back that I dropped it. Well it was more like, it fell on my leg, then I slowly rolled it off onto the ground. Well I didnt realize that when I rolled it over as slowly as possible without crushing my leg it was resting on the part on the outside of teh tranny that the shifter cables connect to. Well there is a little plastic sleve in that assembly that holds the two levers that move the transmission between gears an in and out of gear. That plastic sleve is now somehow halfway gone. I'm assuming that I must have broken it off. So I only have 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th, but it is almost impossible to tell where each is and when it is in gear, the shifter moves back and forth a mile as this sleve held the fulcrums of the levers nice and tight. What I need to know is, can I switch just the lever assembly or will I need to take the tranny apart to fix this? I had it jimmy rigged, but in my first launch with the broken in clutch, i seem to have lost my band aid, and her knee is once again bleeding. Also, its time for a new tranny anyways. I noticed also that within the past 2 days I seem to be leaking some tranny fluid from the transfer case area. It shifted OK, with no grinds, but went into gear pretty hard. Any suggestions? Does anybody have this part that I could perhaps just buy and use to get me by for the winter? Thanks guys!

Todd. I need the entire shifter lever assembly that is between the actual tranny and the cables, but when I get the new tranny done, I was planning on buying one of these from you.

Anybody know if I can replace just this lever assembly? I've got it semi-fixed, but its a PITA as it doesnt go into 2nd, 4th, or reverse very well. I've had to avoid spanking a few domestics for fear of missing multiple shifts or breaking something. sad.gif Also, anybody got some spare shifter cables?
