anyone have any suggestions. im thinking about getting the bushings kit from dsmparts and thought i might grad a b&m at the same time. any comments would really help i dont know much about this stuff or if it worth it?????


also going to do the tranny fluid at the same time any suggestions on what to get

suggestion............

buy my stock shifter, cut it down and re-thread it to make it a short shifter

$20 is much cheaper than what B&M wants, i am sure!!!

I've got a full set of shifter bushings that I'd sell for $25 shipped... shifter base and cable end bushing both.

B&M only makes a unit for the 2G. Given that, I doubt that GSXracer's cut down will work. Also, IMO it's easier to do a cut and reweld and keep the threaded area intact. Moot point there most likely.

Rob's cable end bushings will work for the 2G or 1G but make sure the shifter plate bushings are specific to your generation as they are different ('90, '91+, or 2G).
