QUOTE (DesertEagleTSiAWD @ Aug 21 2004, 06:17 PM) $150? Sold. Nope. I'm pretty sure that $200 is fair price for a carbon fiber hood. If the car sells before the hood, we can always just put it on the shelf for a while. -------------------- |

You wanna trade some poopy?
Carbon fiber hoods aren't that scarce anymore.....especially since I can make one... Anyway, let me know if you want to trade some poopy...you guys need anything?? We probably got it. Lots of g0-faster stuff. V8s, that other car that we shall not name, VW and DSM stuff. |

i could have used the monster tach that had my name on it but instead sat on your shelf for three weeks while you were busy getting banned. but since your absence, i've kicked the necrophiliac habit...

Not sure on the measurements on the rims but I believe the tires are 225 series. I'll double check tomorrow at the shop.

I believe so but want to double check. The 225's on them look to be as big as I would consider putting on the wheels (slightly wider than the rim).
I'd guess them to be stock size rims wearing slightly wider than stock drag radials. But as they were picked up used I'm not positive. -------------------- |

Stick to your guns on that hood. i payed 600 for mine so with that being said they are not that scarce. Of coarse my hood is not oem style but still i bet its at least 500. So 200 is a steal.

Gee thanx! haha. (about the hood).
Kou / Xian, whoever--- You want to work something out for the tach and some cash? New 5" w/ shiftlite. I think I can round up the packaging if you want, not sure. But it's brand new. Or need any other DSM parts? |

Cool pic too. I thought I was cool when I had 3 of them @ once.... Well, anyway---either one of you need a bad pooper tach or what--- let's play 'let's make a deal'. I'll trade you a FWD tranny for the hood? |

ugly bag of mostly water,
i am still being nice. I was overly understanding when you repeatedly told me for three weeks you would ship the tach the next day. I needed the tach 'yesterday' then. In the end, the experience was upsetting and left a bad taste in my mouth. I was even kind to you when you verbally asulted nate. If you have more to say about that, you can pm me, keep it off this thread. bottom dollar on the carbon fiber hood =$200 cash. No trades. No poop, no barbies. -------------------- game over.

I believe we still have the 3.5 gm mas, and possibly a 3 inch gm mas don't know if the big brakes owuld fit a mighty max, but if they do, we'd love to do the job for you. travis will have to get back to you on pricing. -------------------- game over.

Sorry if you were offended when allegedly 'assaulted' Nate. That's ridiculous. At any rate, I didn't intend to leave any kind of taste in your mouth (sicko), I had a lot going @ the time, and even more now. My mother was in the hospital w/ some very serious stuff, My grandfather had just passed away, I don't live where the parts are...I live in Iowa City, where I go to school. And it's hard to negotiate shipping dates when I dont know when I was going to be where the parts were...etc etc. The parts are @ my parents place= no storage here. No hard feelings for being nieve to the situation, because I am still interested in the hood. If I get next weekend off, I may make the trip ...any way you could take some pics where the hood pins were mounted? Other 'troubled' spots? I dont want to waste anyone's time here.... No need to PM anything. |

yeah, who woulda guessed it.
oh no, not the hood! Travis, how could you. I thought you (Spy) already had a 'custom' hood? I actually thought about doing the same...kind of.....maybe not quite so tall. And maybe incorporating my headlight housing somehow. Kinda like the Red Talon w/ the Kevlar pieces (bumper, and headlight/intake) ...dont remember the guys name now... Looked sick tho. |
