What to do? Options

I need some advice. I'm looking for a 1G awd to put a little work into and drop my currently slightly modified 6 bolt into. I've been looking for a 1gb since July and found a 94 talon in Chicago that I checked out and was ready to buy (small 16g, SAFC, leather interior, cleanest engine I’ve seen in a long time, and the body is a 9 out of 10) Only problem is a bad tranny and crazy idle. I was going to go up last weekend and pick it up for 2,000$! Everything was good then I called to make sure everything was good and found out some guy was driving down the road and swerved to miss a small animal (story?) and hit the driver rear tire. The body wasn’t damaged just a few scratches on the bumper, but the wheel is all bent up and the top of the tire is pointed inwards. I really want this car but don’t know what all might have happened when the other car hit. I’m hopping just suspension or something that I can swap off of my current 92?
But now I have another option. Most of you know about a certain 90 awd that has been sitting outside the old slopony for a while now. I could just buy that and toss my setup in there and be good. What would you do? And what would you pay for the 94? what do you think might have been broke? I’m mainly worried about frame damage. Also this guy is not sure about what might be broken he just wants it gone.

Could be a stupid question, but what is wrong with your white 1g?

Frame is messed up and the car is held together by rust. And lots of fixable crap like the wiring harness, complete suspension, and a broken bolt in every body part in the car. The frame is splitting where the tranny plate goes right by the passenger control arm. I had it welded back but its split apart so far the plate wont go back on completley. Its only got 2 bolts in it right now and the other holes are about an inch off.

That's entered my mind more than once! love it on a role, but i dont think i would survive this crazy world without my awd! i would sit in the corner and talk to myself about how to properly tie my shoes. Maybe i need a fwd and an awd! I'm sure theres something around here i can pawn......Wait who needs a small child!?!?!?

...more likley to sit in a corner and reminisce about what it was like to be able to accelerate under full boost and not worry about which direction the front of your car will go.

tyler (spooled) has a awd roller that is is beautiful. A lot less than the one that was infront of slopny thats to be sure. I realize that the other one is clean, but this one is awesome. Call him or pm him.

If you want a awd post 92, I have an auto Im about to sell $3200. 6bolt 4 bolt.

though it sounds clean, that "wreck" is a little shady. AT this point you dont know if there is an frame damage in the rear end of the car, for 2k Id shy away from it.

He is asking 1,000$ for it as it sits now. Got some pics Check Here! The first 5 are pics before the accident and the others are after. It looks like it might not be to bad? Any input. I have been trying to talk him down to 900 but the price wont budge from 1K. The parts on it are worth a bit as well. Hell when I checked out the engine it had 170PSI on all 4. (7 bolt that’s going to be pulled anyway) I'm about 95% sure I'm going to pick this up I just don’t know what else to look out for and if I will be able to swap out my 92 crap and be good. Also I’m having trouble finding a way to get it back. I was going to disconnect the rear end and use a tow dolly, but now I cant tow it on the rear end and the truck I was going to use cant pull a flat bed. Uhual wants .99 mile plus 50.00 plus deposit and that’s just for the truck! Another 40 for the trailer oh yeah plus deposit. So that’s the 5% that tells me to snap out of it!!!

Anyone with a truck, a trailer, and a little free time want to make a few $$$
