Allright,
Recently I found Jame's post about his logging experience with gas stations to be rather inspirational. being a lil bit of a newb, i can't really contribute things to the board that others can. So, i wanted to do what I could for local dsm'ers. I would like to centralize here and at the kou website a page/thread that has logging experience's with different gas stations so that local dsm'ers can get the best gas for their buck in their area. I would appreciate any posts with a short write up of the experience, as well as <prefered> screen shots </prefered> of the logging. Thanks for the idea James Local Gas Station Review Page - under construction -------------------- game over.

That's a good idea xian. A few suggestions if I may. If you want to make it really scientific, we should pick one car per area. Log it on its current gas from such and such gas station. Run her dry. Put in a gallon or two from a new station. Repeat, and so on, until there are a few logs from each station. I think this would really help out local guys who drive their turbocharged cars daily.
If I had OBDII software for my logger, I'd do it on the Evo. I've been wanting it, maybe now's the time to get it. Only problem with that is knock can't be logged with the OBDII software. |

thanks for the support nate.
![]() i'm very pro your suggestion. i have neither a running dsm or time right now. But, if you guys can get something together, i might be able to throw a little bit financial at gas bill in return for the data. -------------------- game over.

Wish I could log knock for this experiment. I will say that I get gas at the BP on knoxville next to BK ONLY. Any other place and she can tell the difference.

I'm thinking we should make it worth people's while as well. How about this?
Someone provide the car and do the logging at a decent amount of boost. KOUmotorsports will provide a $20 gas card to the drivers. So... WHO WANTS FREE GAS? ![]() -------------------- |

That is one of the best ideas I've heard in a long time. In the land of 92 octane (Pekin), that would be some valuable info.

i'll see his twenty and raise it twenty. that's right, you get one 20 dollar gas card, and 20 cash in your pocket, clean and clear.
come all you broke college students, who needs beer money? All you older senior members, isn't it time you buy your lady that plastic ring she's been eyeing in the quarter machine????/ -------------------- game over.
