I have a phantom grip to install into my third member(between the spider gears). I have the tranny sitting on my bench to take apart. I've taken all the bolts out of the bell housing, but I can't pull it apart! Does anyone know how to get the spider gear assembly out? Please let me know ASAP. Thnx.

You want a Phantom to grip your third member? Wrong website.
On a serious note, not to second guess you, but make sure you have all the necessary bolts loose and check the VFAqs for a procedure. -------------------- 2009 Scion Tc

Here's the vfaq you'll want:
http://www.vfaq.com/mods/BMT.html To take the tranny apart you need to start at the end cap side rather than the bell housing because there are some long bolts that extend from the end cap all the way to the bell housing. |
