I think Dan was looking for something to do logging with in the EVO. I recall Lawrence chastizing Dan while we were watching him run for not having any logging tools yet.

Tried a 233Mhz with 128Mb memory and it was horrible. Was fine as long as the car was not running but forget on the fly tuning! I would shoot for a little more than the K6.

One with the math co-processor and a turbo button will do it.

Dammit, AEM.

I went to their site trying to find hardware requirements and they don't have any. They do list what OS's can run it.

Don't try it on less than a Pentium III 500 w/128MB RAM. That'd be my guess - but the f'ers are makin' me guess ... good luck!

From Pg.29 of the User Guide:

The Minimum recommended requirements for the computer follows:
· Windows™ 95 (OEM Service Release 2) or higher operating system
· 233 Mhz Pentium™ or compatible Processor
· 256 Color, 800x600 minimum resolution Video screen
· CD-ROM Drive
· 9-pin RS-232 Serial Communications Port (Communication problems may be
encountered if using a USB-RS232 Adapter) If no RS-232 Port is available we
recommend using a PCMCIA to serial port card.
· 64 Mb of RAM (random access memory), 256 recommended.
The more RAM you have, the more efficiently AEM Pro and AEM Log will run,
particularly when using the real-time tuning and PC logging features.

I would have to say that when they say minimum they mean it.

Reading that I stand by my recommendation ... *Laugh*
