ok, so I have the SAFC II hooked up and I have been doing some tuning by ear, mostly eleminating drivability issues like back firing through the exhaust while accelerating..... I really want to log this thing but have been very unsuccessful because I need a "sync" cable for my palm III (I am told that the cable that connects to the palm on one end and has a 9 pin serial port on the other is called that)
does anyone have one for a palm III layin around that I could buy... I will also pay for the shipping.... please help

Ben

I'm confused.... don't you just need a sync cable? I've got a spare.

no, there's two cables you need, one connects from the palm to a DB9 connector and the other goes from DB9 to the OBD1 port on the car. gsx needs the former.

unfortunately I don't have one for a palm3. I'd recommend getting one off ebay for a couple bucks.

I agree with akamiami! Get one from ebay or bestbuy, Circuit city. Any of those should carry what you need.

I have the cable that hooks up to the obdI port on the car, but what I needed was the one that connected to that and went to the palm.... ok, so I checked with best buy, circuit city, tiger direct, and a couple of local computer stores, non of which can get what I need.
went on ebay and whala.... found it, thanks for the help.

Good luck finding one at a retail store. EBAY or an online store is your best bet.
