Did you solder the connections and double the ground? I had the same problem at first on mine and it was a bad ground connection.

the extra wires don't hook to anything. double check every wire making sure they are in the correct spot, and make sure you hooked the grounds up cprrectly.
QUOTE 2) Ground Wire: 1: Connect the Brown wire of the AFC harness to the Black wire with Orange bands corresponding to the connector hole as shown above (bottom row, furthest on the right).
3) Ground Wire 2: Connect the Black wire of the AFC harness to the same Black wire with Orange bands as you did the Brown wire. I'm guessing those cracks you mentioned may have something to do with it, or you caused a short when installing. But rule everything else out first. Double check those grounds ASAP. 95% of electrical problems come from bad connections. The rest, Chuck Norris causes when he becomes angry. It's like a sunspot.
