I myself got my best gas mileage the day of SCDC. I even made two runs on this tank of gas. I was really surprised to see 358 miles out of my tank of gas. What was your best? -------------------- |

It depends how empty you go before you gas up....

Well when I filled up it took me 13.3 gallons to top off. That is like 27 miles to the gallon right?

^^^Yep.
I found the more I modify the car and the faster it gets, the gas milage improves. When I first got the car, it was lucky to get 18! Something to be said for proper tuning and good general maintence. -------------------- 92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD "The Black Golfball" How fast can a 14B go???

I'll get 300 miles out of my dodge... granted it takes $60 to fill it up then. I saw over 300 miles on my first tank on the talon... I'll see what it is on this one for sure.

Where do I start......
These are just for comparision gents. Please ignore if you're looking for DSM only info! I keep religious gas milage records. (MSME, what can I do..) 02' WRX, many minor mods, racing etc = 21.x lifetime 99 Malibu bone stock = 24.x lifetime (34mpg max per tank on the highway) 85 dodge pickup, 446ci = 10.x mpg. towing, racing, cruising, doesn't f'ing matter! Mutt = mid teens overall. low of 4-5mpg at the strip, max=almost 19 on the highway. You 4-cylinder guys suck Hammar |

I've gotten 31 on the highway in the Talon a couple times, usually more around 26-27 though.
The last time I went to Gingerman it was 15 gallons to 100 miles. -------------------- Eric Wort
