Only 110? Options

For some reason, I had a hankering for an adrenaline rush yesterday. Mitsu 77 and I were on our way to his dad's shop to work on my talon. I miss the days traveling down the highway, me in my old 92 GST, him in his 92GSX, side by side the whole way. Now, he has his new 97 GST and I'm driving my DD 97 Sebring (with no balls). Anyway, cruising down the highway, I'm in front, he's in back following closely. I figure, why not give him a run just for the hell of it despite the fact my car is a big pushover. Slam the gas, he follows. Passing traffic, switching lanes. Finally, we push the edge of 100. I'm still in front (amazingly) but he's in back with that bodykit grinning at me like a drooling pit bull bearing it's teeth ready to sink in. Hit 110, what's this? My foot is to the floor and it's none other than a computer controlled speed limiter. D*mn you Chrysler for ruining my fun. Of course he flies by and takes the lead. So I reluctantly follow the leader and carry my sorry *ss to the shop. I am praying that my growing prodigy at the shop will be enough to royally ream him when it's ready. Hopefully, it will be the last of times like this that I've had to settle for second due to the lack of power equality.

when are you supposed to get your car back?

It depends. Since I'm not paying Ryan for shop time or labor, and because it's on an "I help you you help me only because we're best friends basis", we only work on it whenever we both have time. We try not to work on it during regular shop business because it's not paying anything so it's basically just afterhours and one or two days a week. We do have the entire engine assembly together, it's just a matter of cleaning the engine bay, bolting on the trans, and setting it in there. Chances are, due to a tight schedule, we'll only get the engine set in there and a couple of components hooked up on Tuesday(our next day to work on it). After that, it's just hooking everything back up and then putting the interior back to stock condition. Then I'll be able to buy toys for it.
