First of all, Mitsu 77 sold that car some time ago. And yes, he already won once.

Easy there Mr. Z... I don't think you're going to convince anyone on this site that Nate's car is not a street car. Hell, last time I checked it still had power windows and locks... don't know of many "race cars" that have those.... usually removed for weight savings...

Hey, wait a minute... Didn't you just get done removing your interior to race, and then go looking for a daily beater? Kinda like the pot calling the kettle black there, don't you think?

alright...here we go, jumpin my shit...

1 - i never said my car was a contender. yes, my interior is gutted and has a "holy" bumper, but it's sitting out in the parking lot of my workplace right now. according to a mcclean county deputy, it's 100% street legal in current form.

2 - i never said nate's car wasn't a street car...i said it show'd up to the track on a trailor, which qualifies it for the non-street car category per marcus's own rules. you drive it to the track, you run in the street car categories; you bring it on a trailor, you're in the race car category.

3 - yes, i had a trailor lined up "just in case" something broke to tow my poor broke ass home. that didn't keep me from driving it up there, though (or home).

4 - both dsms that ran anywhere close to "fast" times at the track broke something, race/street cars or not.

5 - this thread is intended for nominating next month's COTM. as such, i nominate the fastest street car (per marcus's own rules) that ran at cordova...the mutt.

6 - i'll be happy to drive up to the track again and beat any one of you who would like to drive up with me. tongue.gif
