hey people.. i know one of you guys have to have a 420a engine sitting around somewhere i could buy.. help me!!!! i leave for basic training oct 6th and i need an engine asap!

I've got a freshly rebuilt 420a block, completely rebuilt head, and eagle rod/je piston combo sitting around that I'm supposed to have been selling for some time now.
The only bad news is that the it spun a rod bearing and in the process scored the crank pretty good. You could get it machined from kalina or buy a reman'd one from autozone for 200.00 and have the whole thing ready to assemble tomorrow. This thing is COMPLETE. I've got everything from the oil pan to the valve cover, and that includes new timing belt, tensioner, all the extra little gaskets and whatnots that usually end up adding about 150.00 to the rebuild price in the form of some crappy gasket kit with no labels. Anyways, pm me if you're interested. Price is 1300.00 for the whole damn thing. Oh yeah, it comes with a clutch, and flywheel too. The guy was building it for boost later on, but screwed up during the break in and gave up on it. -------------------- my cars breath smells like car food
