Also add in the fact that usdm wiring harnesses did not come with the necessary wiring.

yep you got a big pile of smelly poopy on your hands there. If you want to go bigger on the intake side buy a Venom or custom sheet metal intake manifold.

I've seen the flow numbers for a cyclone and they are very close to a 1g DSM. I had thought about running one on my car when I swap the head. The vacuum lines wouldn't be all that hard to run. The hardest part would be tuning for when to open the second stage.

Which ones? There's about 3 or 4 different results sets running around the DSM sites and they're all different. Its been a big argument in the past on whether the cyclone hurts or helps and I have a feeling each side has doctored their own results to strengthen their respective postions. rolleyes.gif

I kind of want to run a dyno on them so we can have our own comparison. We've got both in stock and I'd donate one to the cause. We could all chip in for the dyno time and have a meet where we swap the intakes. Have our own more hard data perhaps there.

Oh, and on the Venom, I'd stay away from those. Too many horror stories. If you plan on spending the money on a SMIM I'd get a quality piece personally. Magnus, Extreme, Hogan, Polk, or FRH (cast but good reviews).

Just my $0.02
