well....did you just purchase the GM MAF or did you purchase the translator as well? As long as you have both of those parts you should be able to plug it and go tuning. Now as far as running piping to it for a blow through setup you need to get some piping that will allow you to position your new MAF between the throttle body and the bov. I don't have much knowledge on these but that is my general understanding.

Dejon tool sells pipes that work for your blow through setup. You need the GM-MAF the translator and the UICP to vent. Also recommended that you have a pocketlogger to see if ur runnin rich or not.

To bad I didn’t see this earlier I just sold my supra side mount and Blow Thu IC setup. If you want to run the MAF and be able to vent you will need an upper pipe that will allow you to move the GM MAF past the BOV. Mine cost 200 from dejontool but there are a few different setups out there. None of them cheap. You might want to look at a draw thu setup to save you a few headaches. Also the pipe I had placed the BOV right on top of the filter which made me have to cut the hell out of my intake pipe and suck up lots of hot air!

Get mandrel bent piping from JCWhitney and the flanges and gaskets from RRE and make a custom setup for yourself. I've done a couple myself and have only moderate (at best) welding skills. -------------------- '90 Talon TSi AWD

also remember that you need to have the 1G translator for the 1G car, or else you will have to splice in a 2G maf plug into your 1G harnes..... as if you were doing the 2G MAF mod (thats what I had to do)

you need a 1g maf trans and a 3 or 3.5 inch gm maf. I will be more than happy to do the install for you if you need it. Also, if you round up a logger I'll help ya tune it in.
