Stumbles with throttle, n/a mirage Options

I've got a 91 mirage 1.5L/auto for my mom. I had to replace the tcu cause it was stuck in 3rd and the board was nuked beyond capaciter repair. The first time I took it out, it had a part throttle issue. At idle, the motor is fine, no miss or anything. When I give it any gas it wants to sputter and bog. From what I've read on line, it seems to be an ignition issue. I've replaced the spark plugs, wires look fine but I'll prolly end up replacing those as well. Pulled the ecu, it looks fine from the backside, but could I still have leaking capacitors? Whats odd is that I can feather the throttle and it'll rev up, but when I just mash the gas it'll sputter and not go at all. I guess I'm really thinking it's the ecu since I had to replace the tcu, anybody else had a similar situation that they had to swap ecus?

my old 92 is on its 3rd ecu. It used to run like that whenever I put junk gas in it. Run some injector cleaner through it with some BP 89 and see if that fixes it.
