A Chrysler dealership. I happen to work in one actually and Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealerships are the only ones I believe that sell it. In all honesty, we don't even use it for emissions services. We usually use Justice Brothers unless it's specially requested.

I'm not sure if there is a chemical twin or not. I've not looked for one before so I can't tell you one way or the other.
The way we do it at work with the Justice Brothers system is we've got a pressurized canister and the JB crap. The canister has an air hose attatchment on one end and another piece that hooks into the fuel rail on the other end. You hook the air hose up to the one side and hook the other end into the fuel rail. Disarm the fuel pump and pressurize the canister by opening the valve to let the pressurized air in. Start the car while you've got the canister pressurized and wait till the car dies. When it dies all the cleaner will be gone out of the canister and your combustion chamber "in theory" will be cleaned. In my opinion, I just run the crap out of the car from time to time which is supposed to have the same effect. Somebody back me up here. -------------------- "I hear he tunes the space shuttle also...and that thing is fast"

I remember running atf and water alternately through natedogg's old fwd and analube one fine spring afternoon while in college. I think we tore nearly as big a hole in the ozone with the dual smoke belching as I did in his anal canal later that evening after the both of us drinking too much night train.

Wasn't that the same night I drunk drove your dirty DSM into an off-ramp ditch and drove it right back out again?
Kris: "You gotta take this off-ramp at like 55-60 to really feel the suspension on this bad-boy" Me: "You sure, man?" Kris: "Yeah! I do it all the time"....(yeah, sober) Me: "Well, alright then." Screeeech, Eeeerrrtt! Thunk, thunk. Me: "Wow! The stars are beautiful tonight... How the hell we gonna get outta here!?" Kris: "Its all good, brotha! Its awd! Give her hell!" College = Good drunken times. Da good ole days. |

QUOTE (spyonu2007 @ Dec 19 2004, 11:54 PM) ...Some have baulked thinking it would hurt the injectors or hurt the fuel system. It has been done on numerous local dsm's to no il effect... Has this also been done on other fuel-injected vehicles to "no ill effect"? Has it been shown to harm the fuel system or anything else? I realize that DSMs are not mechanically special vs. other vehicles, but if someone has heard of problems doing it on other vehicles, I'd like to hear it. I'm thinking of trying it on the wife's Mazda. -------------------- '90 Talon TSi AWD

I just found out my dad has been doing it for the last 15 years or so on many different cars with no ill effects.
