So i still have the GSX even though the bastard has f*d me a few times. Other then the mentioned plans I am going to be starting on converting it over to a 5 speed manual drivetrain. Everything is going to be pretty simple other then installing the Clutch master cylinder and pedal assembly. Has anyone else done this before? my neighbor josh and his dad did it to his 1g n/a a few years back and they keep telling me that its pretty simple and that the firewall is already stamped for the alignment of the bolt holes, etc..

These are the parts that i have to remove from the auto:

transmission
tcase
rear differential
pedal assembly
shifter assembly
shift linkage
ecu and tcu
transmission cooler ( i got a B&M setup )

all these parts are going up for sale, not 100% sure yet though because i may be trading a guy for his manual drivetrain.

One question i have, even though i think i know the answer is:

can i use the auto axles? im pretty sure i can but figured i would ask to be sure...

So after these questions are tackled i will be posting this in the project thread spot along with my neon.

thanks for that link... I should not have any problems as i will be taking everything off my old talon to put on my car and im putting all the auto parts on the talon for the guy who owns it now (93dsmowner).... Im getting his talon back on the road for him and he has agreed to trade me drive trains, mainly because it will then have a good transmission and be driveable....

Lol you aren't kidding. gotta get it to your house so you can see everything it needs. When the title is done it'll be going over.
