So being featured on the front of Summit Racing's catalog (that was the one wasn't it) wasn't enough for you? You have to steal our little form of glory, too? j/k tongue.gif

Alright, alright...I nominate Todd as well. Great guy, beautiful and quick car. biggthumpup.gif

J bones laser!!!

The 1.8L dominator biggthumpup.gif

That would actually be 94Laser's laser.

It would be funny if the DSM Breakin' Banana was nominated on a DSM board. biggrin.gif

What about nominating an EVO? What mods are done to the EVO's on the board? EVOfreak, Nate, Kris?

Greddy Type-S BOV, B&M short-throw, free-flowing K&N intake - these were on the car when I bought it.

I bought the 6-puck clutch, the braided SS clutch line, and removed the BCS restrictor for a couple more pounds of...MAXIMUM BOOST! Gotta love free mods.

Oh, I also backed out the little air blocker on the unmetered portion of the MAF to help her run a little leaner. Evo's are hog rich from the factory. Another free mod. smile.gif

There's a guy on the Evo boards who used the new G-tech dyno before and after the free mods. It showed a 12 hp increase and a 20 ft-lb torque increase on his otherwise stock Evo. Give it up for free hp!

But this is a DSM board. I think DSM's should be up for COTM rather than bananas.

Looks really good, Dion. What turbo are you using? How much boost are you running? No intercooler?

Im running a TD05 at 5-6 lbs of boost until I get the intercooler on. I dont have a SMIC on yet because I dont have one (LOL) and I wanted to get the main bugs worked out before winter time but its not turning out that way. Any suggestions or constructive criticism would be more than appreciated along with a datalogger and some trouble shooting. LOL!
Thanks for the compliment they keep me going even with all the frustration.

Cool. If my logger worked with 2G's I'd help you out, but unfortunately it only works with 1Gs. I might be ordering the OBDII logger in the future though, because it works on the Evo's.

Sweet I have Sunday off so that would be excellent. Although I dont have my new silicone connectors on yet cause Im waiting on my T-bolt clamps. But I think we can still figure out what the problem is because its mostly from idle to intial throttle. So let me know if you can. 309-452-4715 just leave a mesage if Im not home. Thanks

Voting's over.... I'm in. tongue.gif biggrin.gif

On a side note... I wonder if we should have some baseline requirements for the COTM page. Stuff like it has to be a DSM, must wait "X" months before being eligable for COTM again, etc... Just the common sense stuff to CYA I guess...

I think all those items are common sense and implied. I don't want to burden such a small group with a bunch of rules. So everyone just needs to think of these things when nominating, and I will continue to weed out the nominations prior to voting.

Actually Marcus, that's an excellent point. I's like to take this opportuinity to give Marcus a big biggthumpup.gif for the great job he does running this board. The lack of drama and bickering says a lot compared to boards like CII. biggthumpup.gif biggthumpup.gif biggthumpup.gif
