You wouldnt know of where i can find the 13mm allen wrench socket to remove the headbolts with would ya? Sears, autoparts stores here dont carry it and said i would have to go through snap on to find it.

BTW Autozone had them for 85 bucks in quincy, i checked into this before. not sure if they are a good quaility one though.

i bought mine at sears. sometimes you have to order them special but it only takes one day to get. other than that you can get them at any snap-on, mac, or matco tool dealer. also try A-I tool supply. they are at the bottom of the hill in Creve Coure.

ok this is whats happening to my car; ill be driving along and all of the sudden it starts running ragged, the tach goes crazy, and my car looks like it is trying to tear itself apart. it sounds like it to. so if either of you know whats going on it would help me out quite a bit. i think its the o2 sensor, but its not throwing any codes so i dont know if it is or if it isnt. i also had a professional look at it, and they said it was fine, but when i was starting to driving home,it started again so i took it back(while it was still being a bastard) and he said it sounded like it was trying to fix it self and that it was he distributor.... so if you have any clues, let me know....

Have you pulled the distributer off recently? My laser would run like crap and it turned out that the distributer must have been off by a tooth or something, but it ended up shearing the pin in the gear and cost me some $. It could be the distributer itself, i ended up having to get a new one cause i broke mine trying to get the old one out. When i put it back in it wouldnt even run and it turned out i had it off by 1 tooth. But i wouldnt drive it like that cause you will break that pin and its a bitch to get it out. Its caused me many of motor woes cause of the damn valve lash adjusters fell out when i had to pull off the cam rail and now i just spend 195 dollars to get 8 new adjusters cause they are ticking on me. The other thing could be your ISC motor. Not sure exactly what your car seems to be doing, but if it surges on idle then that could be it too. My 2.0 eclipse did, i would watch the tach go up and down when its idling and that was what was bad on it. I dont think it will give you a code when thats gone bad, never did for me either. But those are what i think you are having prob with.

Hey could you do me a huge favor? On your distributer, there are 3 wiring harnesses connected to it. One of the harnesses connect to a little black module that is not connected to the distrubuter, but its mounted to it by a bolt. If you could get a part number off that little module for me, i would greatly appreciate it. TIA
