I've tried to look up some of this on DSMtalk's FAQ's but it seems a little over my head.

If I get a 3 in. turbo-back exhaust custom bent for me, do i need to buy an o2 eliminator also? What exactly is an o2 elimator? Here's probably the dumbest part of the question: if what I'm doing is eliminating the oxygen sensor why is it so darn expensive?

you don't need an 02 eliminator, you can just use your stock 02 housing or even have it ported for better flow.

An 02 elim. is a bit of a misnomer, it actually replaces the stock, cast 02 housing with a tubular peice that flows better and never eliminates the need for an 02 sensor, it usually just changes the mounting location.

take a look at my website for pics of my 02 elim. http://www.geocities.com/krisj144/very144.htm

Dang you tight a$$! Those Geocities links never work for your site. Common spend a couple dollars a month for good web site host. Then we can actually check this stuff out for reference. 8)

Here's the link. http://www.geocities.com/krisj144/VERY144.htm

I just forgot to capitalize the 'VERY' part. But you're right about the tightass part, I'm just a cheap 1g owner like everyone else, if I can get something for free I'll suffer through it untill it's unbearable.

...that's why everyone calls it Geo$hities...
