I was at the shop today with Ryan (mitsu 77) and we were installing some new KYB struts on a 1g Talon. I read through the warnings by KYB and they claimed that the maximum you could lower the car with their struts is 1.5 inches. After that the warranty does not cover anything that is lowered more than 1.5 because the strut is not meant to go down that far. Problem being, I was figuring on buying a set for my Intrax springs that lower the car 2.5-3 inches. I'm going to email KYB right now but I figured I might get a more timely response if one of you guys new the answer. Thanks

Most shocks are the same way... they're just not built to take the extreme lowering. Not sure if there are any out there that do warranty them with that much of a drop... they should work for a while though. Definately won't last as long as they should, just a fact of life I guess...
