Wow...imagine seeing Nat on the AWD side of the discussion!? I wonder why.... :twisted:
DG's little class was well written as usual, but I have to agree with DOHCdave. Most of it is pretty obvious. And I do give FWD's major Kudos for their inherent ability to accelerate once they have traction, but that's where my agreement ends. DOHC guy is obviously using the drag strip as the platform of his discussion. How you argue this discussion depends greatly on your point of view, what your personal racing tastes are, and what your goals are. Personally I consider my Talon a cheap mans sports car. For the money very little will put it down for the same money, near HP levels, ability to be a daily driver, gas mileage, drag launches, etc. etc. etc. AWD DSM's are great for the real world performance car enthusiast that doesn't have huge bank and spend most of the time on the street where daily driven cars get used. period.
