Well today I asked my boss if I could leave work early. I left at 3pm and marched strait to the muffler shop(have to get the name of it personally if you want it). The guy there said he'd do it however I wanted. You guys all know how I wanted it.
Two hours later I had a, RRE 3" Downpipe, 3" pressbent full back, and a magnaflo 3" muffler comming out of my EVO 3 O2 housing. Its loud, but not to. So I pull out onto the highway and kick on the logger. I richen everything up like 5% and figure I should start at 50% throttle. And go..... 2000 5psi 3000 10psi 3300 15psi 3700 20psi 3800 21psi ![]() Then came something I had only heard about. The car felt as if the breaks were full on. FUEL CUT!!! at 50% throttle!!!! I stop off and crank the fuel pressure back up and bring the SAFC settings back down. Then I took the spring out of my boost controler. Back onto the road. Unlike before, this now yealds 11psi, not 7. A quick run with the SAFC on peak showed what I was feeling to be true; I am now moving the same amount of air at 11psi as I was before at 14-15. Not being satisfied there I cut up the spring and threw it back in. It only took one 25psi 3rd gear pull with the front tires spinning at 65mph to realize that was a bad idea. Well I'm back down to 11psi. I might have to try a different boost controler or something. I'm loving that I have full boost by 3700 now though. That's a drop of 1000 rpms. Yea, its long I know. -------------------- GVR4 866/1000 = the perpetually broken car

Holly crap!!! I just took that thing out over lunch. I don't think I'll need the boost to be any higher for the street. 2nd gear is fun. If I punch it anywhere past 3500 I peal out and scare the guy beside me
