Started ripping the car apart last night and this morning... only took 3 hours to pull the motor. Must be getting good at it.

Intake swap isn't that big of deal... a lot of 2g guys do it. You can put the 1g TB on the 2g intake, but the bore of the 2g intake is smaller, so you won't see any real gains until you put on a 1g intake manifold...
