allright, so took the altenator to two places to have it checked. Supposedly it's good at both places. At the second place 'satan' seemed friendly nice and intelligent so I asked him a question. "I noticed when taking the altenator off that the ground had come loose, the nut on the stud was almost off, and the ground was just hanging on the stud. COULD that cause my battery to not be recieving a full circuit, and or whatever...?"
He states that the altenator doesn't have a ground and that is the line to the battery. "that's your problem." It's the little 0-ring and it has two thick wires connected to it. It appears as though they could be running through the harness to the battery. I'm curious as to what the boards thoughts are? I started the car and wanted to let it idle for a while in the drive way to see if it would run the battery down, but I couldn't keep the damn thing idling long enough. I've got to go to work. Any suggestions? Thoughts, Comments? -------------------- game over.
