I've had one of those for years. My dad works out at the plant and I guess they sold them through the store in the factory. Looks exactly like Rollout and Taxiwardance's model. Those suckers didn't get out into circulation like your regular run of the mill models do. They were reserved for the factory workers and like dealerships. They all say 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS on the bottom but if you look under the hood the intake is routed down to the exhaust so they were actually modeled after the GS Turbo. They came preassembled and only in die cast. I've never seen another model of a 1g car other than those. Hold on to those models boys, hopefully they'll be worth something someday because of their rarity. I keep mine for the sentimental aspect though.
