Does anybody know if 90 shifter cables will work in a 91-94? I know that the 90's arent adjustable, but I have a set of 90 cables and would like to install them just to run this weekend at cordova! Thanks! BTW- I really only need to swap the cable that puts the tranny into gear(forward and backwards) rather than the one that moves it between gears(side to side). I was thinking about taking the broken 91-up cable out and measuring them up any maybe threading new threads onto it to make it adjustable\the right length?? Thanks again guys!!

QUOTE (KOU In3 @ Jun 12 2004, 10:54 PM) The bolt I knew about. The pin I was unsure how easily it was removable from the outside of the tranny. Did you actually free the pin and get the entire linkage out? well, I didn't have to, Marcus showed me how to do it when I was up there dropping off the trans at SloPny..... I called AWD DSM and asked him about the shifter and he said it was a '91, so lucky me, I don't have to mess with it. -------------------- You CAN sleep in your car, but your CAN NOT race your house!!!
