i am garaging the Z in the winter. so i am in the market for a REALLY CHEAP vehicle. preferably an old pickup or suv 4x4 of some sort. price range under $1000. if anybody knows where i could find something like this id appreciate it.

Be careful of the cheap trucks, most of them need massive amounts of work to be anywhere near realiable. Plus they suck gas like it's going out of style (trust me, I just bought one... wink.gif )

On that note, I happen to have this fine example of ingenius German Engineering in my possesion that I'd be willing to part with for the right price. It's been my DD for the last 2 months or so... 33mpg +, room for 4, 5-speed fun, FWD traction, and it's even got A/C!!! I'm talking about my little 86 Jetta, 153k and it's had massive amounts of work done to it in the last 3 years while my mechanic Father-in-law owned it and drove it daily. $700 and it's yours!! biggthumpup.gif
