I think my starter is going out. When the housing broke that first time, the tranny tilted enough to drag the starter into the flywheel and mangled it pretty good. I'm pretty sure the end bearing in it is pretty unhappy with that type of loading also.
Anybody ever have to change one of these out? Just wondering how long it might take/how hard it is. I know unbolting it is easy, just not sure how much of a PITA the wiring is. -------------------- Eric Wort

I would imagine it would be a nice PITA. I've unbolted them changing clutches, but there is not enough room to remove it. Might have to take the whole intake off.
