Im kinda stumped, ive got a 90 GSX, manual, and all the sudden my car wont crank over. I just replaced the starter, and ive checked the battery and its ok, i rechecked all my connections and they are good, but when i go to start the car, i can hear the starter click, everything comes on but it wont crank. This just happened out of the blue, i drove the car out on a date, come out of the movie and went to start up and nothing, had my uncle come push start me and it started that way (push the car, pop the clutch) and it drove just fine. Im lost at the moment on why my starter wont turn over with a good battery and a remanned starter? I thought of possibly the clutch switch, but would that just out of the blue go bad, and will the starter still tick if thats gone bad? any help would be appreciated.
