Well, it still boosts 17psi just fine, it doesn't smoke at all, but I know its dying. A boost leak test has revealed that my turbo is leaking boost into the crankcase bad enough to blow out the dipstick and howl out of the breather filter. Bypassing the turbo and just pressurizing the intake piping and engine results in no leaks at all. Hmmf, so much for rebuilding turbos. Guess we'll see how long she lasts ph34r.gif

We should have a spare center section here to return the favor actually. Your turbine and compressor housings should still bolt up.

Just let me know when you need it for the swap. Or are you going to see how long you can push the 16G ?
