suggestion for the speeders, how to not speed Options

I got pulled over a couple weeks back for speeding. The cop said I was doing about 50ish in a 45 so he was obviously on a fishing expedition but I had my dope so far up my pooper I knew he wasn't going to get it even though a little poking around wouldn't have been all bad. Anyways....I was kind of surprised because I had thought I was going decently faster than that, but I wasn't going to interject with 'actually officer, I beleive it was more like 60.' I got off with no ticket and just barely a mention to keep it down a bit so all was good.

Then today, I was playing around with my instrument cluster since analube is back on the road after the wiring debacle and I remembered that way back when (probably over a year ago) I switched to a NT instrument cluster because I thought the tach was bigger. It finally clicked that the gearing in an NT is different and that's why I've been actually going slower than I thought.

So, for you leadfoots out there, try swapping a crappy NT cluster in your speed demon and after a short time you'll be oblivious to the fact that you're actually not going as fast as you'd think. Thinking back over the past year or so, I can't even count the number of times I've passed a cop by the road and done one of those 'o poopy's! I hope I wasn't speeding!' Thanks to my trusty NT cluster, I haven't had a speeding ticket in quite a while.

LOL! Or put some smaller diameter tires on your car.

Thats like people that set the clock in their car 5 or 10 minutes fast so they're not late.

But then you get in your car and as your driving to work your like "Eh, i got a couple minutes, i set it fast anyway"

Kinda defeats the purpose.
