So today, im cruisin along, Bam, no power stearing and my battery light flicks on. I lost the alternator belt obviously. But thats not it, I parked the car, and all of a sudden i notice an extremely loud and fast Ticking noise, definitly not your usual lifter tick, coming from the head. I'm going in to evaluation mode right now to figure it out and am seriously stumped. Enless its a lack of oil (which i havent check as it was to dark at the time), i dont know. Also, i noticed when i stepped of the car when i parked it, it smelled a bit like antifreeze, i popped the hood, and sure enough it was a stronger odor. Any ideas fellas?

that thread is littered with uneducated BS, whats your point? people making inferences off of that sound clip that wouldnt know what a 4g63 was, let alone what kind of problems it could have based on a noise?
