So today, im cruisin along, Bam, no power stearing and my battery light flicks on. I lost the alternator belt obviously. But thats not it, I parked the car, and all of a sudden i notice an extremely loud and fast Ticking noise, definitly not your usual lifter tick, coming from the head. I'm going in to evaluation mode right now to figure it out and am seriously stumped. Enless its a lack of oil (which i havent check as it was to dark at the time), i dont know. Also, i noticed when i stepped of the car when i parked it, it smelled a bit like antifreeze, i popped the hood, and sure enough it was a stronger odor. Any ideas fellas?

Last I heard, it was just a separated crank pulley as most of us thought in this thread. I believe it was being taken care of professionally at Speed-source as well. Haven't heard personally since it went there.
I'd vouch for Rollout though. Met him a few times and done business as well. Nice guy, been on the local boards for a while. I seriously doubt he'd be trying to screw anyone on the car (which is beautiful by the way). -------------------- |
