Let me pick your brains whilst I picketh my buttox. I have a 90 Laser RST that isn't wanting to start for me. It turns over very healthy, but just doesn't want to light. If I'm patient with it, kick it a few times, accuse it of being a slut, ect., it starts...........sometimes.

This started as an occasional thing, but has gotten worse over time, and now it won't fire at all. Also, it will start fine if it's been ran within the last 3hrs or so, but sitting overnight brings back the same symptoms. I understand that eclipgst has similar problems.

So far I've put in a new fuel filter, plugs, wires, coil pack, engine start relay, and FPR all without sucess. Pocketlogger ruled out a faulty fuel pump, and I'm straight out of answers. I'm thinking maybe o2 sensor? The car's at my brother's place in Mapleton, and I'm in the big P-dizzle, so it's not easy to troubleshoot. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

start where you would with anycar:
see if your'e getting spark (ie pull plug, put wire back on, ground it out on neg. battery terminal or any other good ground source, and have a buddy turn it over)
if you are indeed getting spark try replacing sending unit.

sounds to me though like its a ecu problem, try swapping an ecu with a buddy if you have it available. if thats indeed the problem pm me and i have and extra i would part with.
