Here's the full story. Way back when, I decided to get a set of white face overlays for my gauge cluster to match the Phantom Autometers on the A-pillar. The white faces didn't work and I actually messed up my needles doing it and eventually the whole thing quit working. Pulled the car in today, replaced the cluster with a good used one from KOU and still no worky work. Pulled fuse, it was burnt, swapped out with a good one and everything BUT the tach works. The speedo, oil press, fuel, temp, and factory boost gauges all work except for the tach. What's the deal? I checked the vfaqs to no success. Can anyone help me?

I know Wort's had a tach in the past that was a hodgepodge 90/92 cluster. The 90 tach had been swapped into the '92 cluser of vice versa.

Anyways, if something along those lines had been done to your old tach, it would help explain.

Will the tach from your old cluster function if that cluster is swapped back in?

Other option is that there is a wiring short that blew the old fuse and is still in place.
