I blew my 3-4 slider in the GST the other night trying to hammer third gear.
When I pulled the trans out I found that my clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing were not playing well together. The TB was contacting the presure plate off center causing the clutch to stick some times. I also found that the slider on the bell housing is worn down enough where it may be contributing to this problem. Josh is resynchronizing the transmission with a new slider and I have a new throwout bearing. Does anyone have a cheap stock pressure plate and/or the bellhousing portion of the transmission case? These parts are for a 1990 6-bolt fwd set-up. Let me know ASAP! -------------------- In Loving memory of David T Crebo
