Kazz, what is the oil consumption policy you are refering to?

It's been maintained that if you don't break the car in right (first 500 miles - which this beast apparently is in the MIDDLE of) the car will use oil. I was just alluding to it. I'd want something from them that if there is a certain amount of oil usage per 3-5K miles that they'll redo seals, seats, etc.

I'm just sittin' here concerned that it has 200 miles on it and the brakes are a mess. Don't want ya gettin' burned just cuz it's red and available. *Shrug*

Have ya run the VIN, btw for service history, accidents, etc.? In this case I'd definitely do it. That orange peel comment raised a flag too. I know Mitsu paint's supposed to suck, but ... forewarned is forearmed. If this things been through a meat grinder you should get one hell of a deal. And one reason that pr!ck may have been indifferent about making any money on it is because the dealership has taken it on at a bad price to them to begin with. They know they're not going to make money. In that case don't make their mistake your mistake.

Like I said, I respect the sh!t outta you walkin' away. If the damn thing still stirs your loins get some homework done before you walk back in - apparently the only way that would happen is if they were bendin' over backwards for you anyway. Hit 'em while they're soft.
