[SIZE=7] I need some help... My '91 Talon 2.0 Non-turbo (5-speed) which I use in the 4-cylinder class dirt track racing is running very lean. I installed some COMP cams, a header system, cold air intake, hotter plugs and 9.3 mm plug wires. I have the timing set at 12 degrees, which is about 7 degrees more than stock. Does anyone know why this is happening to my car? And what do I need to do to correct this problem? Please let me know ASAP. You can email me at drkewk@verizon.net. Thanks! |

More details please. How do you know it is running lean? Is it knocking on the logger or have you run it on a wideband O2?
Are you running it on race gas to compensate for the extra timing to have you tried to to see if it helps fix things? -------------------- |
