I was out testing a new fuel pressure setting...and somewhere out making some aggressive runs I puked about 6-8 oz of oil out the dipstick.
What causes this?

There's a section in the VFAQs about this. Mitsu90 has the right idea behind it. Crankcase pressures rise and cause the dipstick to pop out. Theory is that it is either a weak dipstick seal or failing piston rings. Good rings will pop out a bad dipstick and bad rings will pop out a good dipstick.

Pinch the dipstick tube with a pair of vise grips at the top, and that should keep it in place. If not, you can wire the stick down to a convienent spot on your engine. Whatever you decide, do something to prevent oil on that exhaust manifold!
