WTB: 5 sp parts car Options

I really need to get my talon going and as much as i hate automatics, i really dont even want to try to fix the automatic in my car... soooo, does anybody have, or know about any cheap cars with a 5speed and probably a blown motor or something. all i want it for is the transmission and all the parts needed to convert it over. or if you know all of the parts i would need and want to sell me thoes, that would work too. It needs to be FWD, and i think the axle splines are different on 93s and 94s, so it would have to be one of thoes considering my car is a 93. any out there???? reply or PM me

I think that zacd was reffering to the auto vs MT...

I guess you wouldn't, you'll still have the 390cc injectors, so the maps should be ok. Only reason to go to a MT ECU would be if you were putting the larger injectors in. Another brain fart...

I'm about 15 min east of Peoria. I can usually meet half way as long as you're not too far (or delivery can be negotiated). I'd need a few days to get eveything pulled and ready to go.

And yes, the 2.0NT and Turbo blocks are the same save the compression and oil squirters... I'v actually seen a NT block modified to be exactly the same as a turbo. i just figured they did something different on the 1.8's. never had a chance to look at one that close yet!
