I really need to get my talon going and as much as i hate automatics, i really dont even want to try to fix the automatic in my car... soooo, does anybody have, or know about any cheap cars with a 5speed and probably a blown motor or something. all i want it for is the transmission and all the parts needed to convert it over. or if you know all of the parts i would need and want to sell me thoes, that would work too. It needs to be FWD, and i think the axle splines are different on 93s and 94s, so it would have to be one of thoes considering my car is a 93. any out there???? reply or PM me

One problem i see that may be an issue would be a different flywheel for the 1.8 vs the 2.0 im not sure as i dont have any side by side comparison of the motors. Just one issue that you may want to check into and see. example 7 bolt for your 2.0, not sure what it would be on a 1.8.
From my understanding you have a 2.0 non turbo auto that your converting to a 5sp rather than mess with another auto trans right? in that case you wont have to change ecu's, just everything that was on the link mitsu 90 gave. You may want to read through that before you decide to do it, cause there is alot of work involved in it, clutch pedal, lines, shifter and linkage. I dont know if you need to change electrical connectors or not, i believe the only one on a manual is for the backup lights. -------------------- 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS- Pretty daily driver
