well.... my dreams of a streaky brown summer my be slowed down and delayed a bit.

after a pussy ass 5th gear pull on the way home from cordova i started getting mad misfiring. pulled over, thanks to all who stopped with. ended up cylinder one was down.

i had a very generous offer from Jim Wike to get a trailor, but i opted not to put him out of his time... still, that offer was pretty damn generous.

drove it 200 miles back home... i'm sure not helping the situation.

got it back, compression in cylinder 1.... dink dink dink zero. nada. nothing. leak down test shows that a probably said good bye to an exhuast valve.

I still need to pull the head and start inspecting what the real damage is, but my wet dreams of just cleaning a spark plug and driving away have been shattered.

i have a few options... two good heads, one with valves and all the goodies... a good block if needs be... or even some sort of combination with spy rocket.

i won't make my decision untill i pull the head and see what's going on.

but, after putting a month and half of sleepless nights, ponying up and getting her done, i'm taking a four day hiatus to not give a shit and sleep and be normal again before i start waning my life away about some neurotic dream that i know not why i hold.
