Hello I have a 94 Ply Laser with a none turbo 2.0 and it has been setting for about a year and didn't smoke when parked but now after it warms it it smokes like a freight train. I did a compression check on the car it has 190psi on all 4 cyl I just don't understand it unless its the valve seals.

Any ideas?

Is it white, blue, or dark grey/black smoke. White smoke usually means there is some kind of moisture in the cylinders. It usually means a head gasket has popped or that it's just been sitting long enough that some moisture accumulated in the cylinders and it just needs driven.

Darker smoke means either it's running too rich or it's burning oil. I'd say burning oil is more than likely your problem. It can happen when a car sits for long enough. Get it out and get some miles on it. It may not totally disappear but it should get a little better.
