im currently in the process finishing up my pedal weld. I can tell a difference immediatly after i welded it that i took alot of play out of it. I had the assembly on the bench pushing the clutch pedal by hand and before and after the weld and now it feels much more solid now. My problem was my clutch would engage at the floor and grind too. If either of you end up doing this, be careful putting back the clutch safety switch. You can break it very easily if you get crooked at all and its a dealer only part.
