Yesterday I bought a 1984 S-10 with a 355 with Edlebrock carb,headers and a very mild cam its got posi rear end and is quite fun I have had a good time with it so far any suggestions on easy upgrades for it

hey man, congrats on the small blocked s-10.... I had one with a '86 Monte SS 305 that ran like a striped ass ape.
it was mearly a smoke machine until I got the rear suspension setup a little better. I took out one of the leaf springs and installed traction bars... that helped the posi rear-end work it's magic. once you remove one of the springs you have to install traction bars or you will get wheel hop like crazy.
