The K&N that came in my car doesn't seem to hold it's oil. I'll clean it, oil it and in a month it looses it red color like all the oil is gone. The K&N's I have in my other car keep their red tint no matter how dirty they get. I'm worried it's not filtering correctly anymore. Any body have a similiar experience?

turn it back into them... they have a 1 Million mile warranty

I looked into it, you need a receipt. Don't have one.

I emailed K&N yesterday, to see what they say.

if they won't take it back without a receipt, just go buy a new one and hold on to the receipt for awhile and return it in a few months or so biggthumpup.gif

funny how people always have the same idea that I do

I just said the same thing in a pm to him yesterday

it works with just about anything, I love that little trick biggrin.gif
