The K&N that came in my car doesn't seem to hold it's oil. I'll clean it, oil it and in a month it looses it red color like all the oil is gone. The K&N's I have in my other car keep their red tint no matter how dirty they get. I'm worried it's not filtering correctly anymore. Any body have a similiar experience?

how often should one re-vive thier K&N? i've had mine on for a little over 2years now.
and how would one go about doing that? -------------------- it's not a dsm unless it's leaking something
